We’re proud to share that over 100,000 verified law enforcement professionals are now part of Kodex Global.
But this isn’t really about us.
It’s about impact.
Every single connection on our platform represents the possibility of a crime stopped, a family protected, or a community made safer. Stories like the ones below remind us why bridging the gap between public and private matters so much.
2.5 Million Lives Saved at a Lady Gaga Concert
Large-scale events bring joy to thousands, but they can also attract bad actors. When intelligence surfaced on a planned attack at a Lady Gaga concert at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, law enforcement launched ‘Operation Fake Monster’ and needed a fast, trusted way to collaborate with private sector partners.
Through Kodex, those law enforcement agents were able to quickly verify requests, connect with the right stakeholders, and share the information needed to neutralize the threat. What could have been a tragedy became a story of prevention, and thousands of fans enjoyed a night of music, safely.
“Kodex was essential in this investigation. The platform acted as a secure and efficient bridge between law enforcement and Discord, allowing us to obtain emergency data tied to profiles involved in a serious threat. The information shared via Kodex helped us identify connections between users and confirm that there was, in fact, a coordinated plan to cause harm. This support was critical to advancing the investigation and protecting public safety.”
- Police Commander of Piauí State, Brazil, Alesandro Gonçalves Barreto said about the incident.
Just in Time: 2 Children Saved from a Sexual Predator
In another case, an investigation uncovered a predator preparing to harm two innocent children. Timeliness was extremely critical. Using Kodex, law enforcement connected instantly with private sector partners, verified identities, and exchanged the information needed to act decisively.
The suspect was stopped before he could carry out his plans. Two children were kept safe. And a predator was brought to justice.
Here is a note our CEO, Matt Donahue, received from the law enforcement agent who made the arrest:

The $400,000 Comeback: a crypto crime undone
Toronto Police launched an investigation into an investment fraud scam carried out over the phone, where a husband and wife were tricked into sending $400,000 to scammers. The lead investigator worked seamlessly with a Kodex Partner to help regain a “significant portion” of the couple's lost funds from intake, and judicial authorizations, all the way through to the successful recovery of funds.
This case is a great example of how Kodex bridges the gap between public investigators and private industry, creating a secure, efficient channel for collaboration. What began as a devastating phone scam became a story of recovery and resilience.
More Than a Milestone
Reaching 100,000 verified law enforcement professionals is proof that this model works. Kodex sets the standard for how companies and law enforcement communicate with each other, and these standards help stop crime on a global scale. By breaking down silos and building trust between the public and private sectors, we’re enabling faster responses, stronger partnerships, and real-world impact.
Every story like these reminds us why we do what we do. And with 100,000+ professionals on the platform, our hope is to continue to build safer communities, together.
