This month sharpens how teams find and follow their requests. Search learns live date logic and unread-comment filters, analysts can re-group target selectors after submission, timed follow-ups now come find you, and multi-factor auth moves into the sign-up flow.

Advanced Request Search: Live Date Filters and Unread Comments

The advanced search builder now understands relative dates like "is overdue," "is today," and "within" or "older than" a number of days, and re-evaluates them every time the search runs. Build a saved view like "overdue, two or more unread agent comments, unassigned" once and it stays accurate without editing. A new unread-agent-comment filter and a sortable unread-comments column round it out. Best for analyst teams who triage from saved searches and need to see what needs attention right now. Available to all customers.

Analyst Target Grouping

Analysts can now re-group target selectors after a request is submitted: drag selectors between groups or out on their own, and create new groups directly from the Selector view. When an agent's original grouping doesn't line up, an analyst can fix it so searches return meaningful results instead of noise. Best for analysts cleaning up high-volume or inconsistent submissions. Available to all customers.

Search Within Large Selector Lists

Requests with long target lists now have a search box built right into the selector table. Type a selector value, a selector type, or an identifier, and the list filters as you go: groups with a match stay in view, and collapsed ones expand on their own. Analysts checking that what law enforcement entered matches the legal process no longer have to fall back on the browser's find. Best for analysts working high-volume requests. Available to all customers.

Next Action Date Notifications

When a request's next action date arrives, Kodex now sends an email and an in-app notification that links straight to the request, so NDO check-ins, Enforcing Authority notification windows, and other timed follow-ups don't slip through. It works across every request type, not just eEvidence. Best for teams juggling waiting periods and scheduled follow-ups. If your team hasn't set up a next action date field yet, your CSM can help. Available to all customers.

Multi-Factor Authentication at Sign-Up

New agents are now prompted to set up multi-factor authentication as they create their account, and existing users without MFA get a periodic reminder to turn it on. The result: more requester accounts protected by default. Rolling out to all requesters.
